About Us

Seli’s Products provides authentic food products of Moringa tea, Moringa cookies, preserves, dry fritter mix, dry “miki” noodles, and pinoy favorite snacks.

Moringa (also known as Malunggay in the Philippines) is considered a vegetable icon, and has inspired the creation of Seli’s Products. The owner/manager of the company, Seli Critchlow, is a half-blooded Ilocana and grew up eating this vegetable several times a week.

In 2014, The Critchlows bought their first home, which contained a healthy, mature Moringa Tree in the backyard. The tree gave the family massive amounts of harvests every month, more than enough for a family of three, extended relatives and friends. In Hawaii, a majority of the Filipino households have a Moringa in their backyard.

Due to abundant harvests almost every month, Seli started drying her own Moringa to preserve the produce and not have it go to waste. Wasting this valuable and nutritious vegetable breaks her heart. The dried Moringa leaves are used as tea, made into Moringa powder for pasta/noodles, salad and soups, etc.

In 2018, Seli started selling these home made creations at the local farmers market, swap meet, craft fair, and the like.

Seli’s Products, in October 2020, has expanded its products’ reach to a broader audience.
